A Father's Classic Conversations with his little girls. As the father
of smart little girls, a dad has to think quick on his feet. He's always
got to come up with brilliant answers. Can anyone tell me how to do that?
: )
Jenna (3 years
old)- "Daddy
is that the front of the house (pointing towards the front of the house) and
that is the back of the house?"
Dad (age undetermined) - "Yes, that's the front of the
house and that's the back"
Jenna- "But where's the front of the world?"
Dad- (stammering, then finally coming up with an answer) "Er,
ah, well Sweet Pea,... there is no front of the world because the
world is like a big round ball and a ball has no front." (Dad wipes sweat
from brow)
Megan (4 years old)- "Could we draw a picture of the
ball? (meaning draw it actual size)"
Dad- "Well, it's a little big to draw it life-size."
Megan- "You mean we wouldn't have paper big enough to
draw it life-size?"
Dad- "No, we wouldn't"
Megan- "Well, we could use tape (to tape together paper)
to get it big enough. OR, we could use staples. Then we could have a big enough
piece....."
Jenna- "I'm going to have a baby boy."
Dad- "Oh, really? What are you going to name your baby boy?"
Jenna- "I'm going to name him 'Heart'"
Megan- "Yeah, and I'm going to have a baby girl & I want to name her Rainbow."
Jenna- (cradling her arms) "I will hold it in my arms and rock it back and forth. And, I think she's going to be a little cranky."
